Biography

Dr. Zubair Md. Fadlullah joined the GSIS in 2011. In the same year, he became a distinguished recipient of two prestigious awards, namely the Dean’s Award and the President’s Award of Tohoku University. His research and teaching span various areas of communications networking and information technology. He received the 10th IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award in 2015, and the NEC’s Tokin Foundation Research Encouragement Award in 2016. Also, he was recipient of several best paper awards.

In addition to academic and research responsibilities, Dr. Fadlullah is active in many professional activities. He is Editor of the IEEE Network, IEEE Internet of Things (IoT) Journal, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (TVT), and several other journals and special issues. He has also been an Editor of the Ad Hoc & Sensor Wireless Networks (AHSWN).
